Subject to lending criteria, we can provide a range of finance facilities and instruments to suit almost every situation - for example development funding from $1m to $100m with terms possible from 2 months to 20 years. As finance solutions evolve, the options can vary greatly, and the solution is often an innovative combination.

Personal Finance

Business finance and personal finance are often interconnected and we provide a full range of personal finance options to our business clients to maximise their overall investment potential and keep duplication of documentation and expense to a minimum. This includes executive mortgages and leasing, as well as opportunities to support immediate family members.

Funding Options

We deal with a wide range funding entities from the high profile “big banks” to the less well known but extremely efficient non-bank lenders. The banks often take a more conservative view of business lending with their application process and time required designed to provide significant detail to allow for a more forensic risk assessment. Non-bank lenders still require minimum levels of documentation, however their pricing allows for a higher risk profile. Having a wider set of funding options allows for solutions more suited to a wider set of individual circumstances. We also consider a wide range of funding instruments to achieve the required outcome. As with the finance options above, it is not unusual to combine several funding options to achieve the desired overall outcome.

Main Bank Lenders

Morgan Brooks Carlson is directly accredited with Tier One and Tier Two main bank lenders and facilitates the extensive loan application process required for business loans. Many of our clients take advantage of the benefits with main bank lenders, particularly loan margins. However these need to be factored against the time and cost of annual to triennial reviews, and the potential for sudden or unexpected refinancing as a result.

Non Bank Lenders

We have an extensive panel of Non Bank Lenders that we work with regularly. These are essentially investment funds that source funding from a range of entities including merchant banks, superannuation funds, private equity and high net worth individuals. These funds are still governed by federal legislation, however they are often structured for additional risk that allows business to access funding at a lower hurdle than the normal risk profile of the main bank lenders.

Lo-Doc Loans

Client circumstances or business timing around financing requirements can mean that normal accounting and support documentation is incomplete or unavailable. Lo-Doc loans provide an opportunity to consider business finance with a lower documentation threshold and adjusted risk premium.
